How to provide a confidential tip
You can report a tip to the Somerset Police Department in three ways. All methods are confidential.

Text the word SOMERSETPD along with your tip to the word CRIMES or the number 274-637.
Online
Use a computer or any other device connected to the internet to submit your tip.
Obtain a copy of a collision report
There are two online methods for obtaining collision reports online, one for those incidents investigated by Somerset Police and one for civilian reports (not investigated by any police agency). All other inquiries concerning reports should be directed to the Somerset Police Administrative Division by calling 606.678.5176 or visiting the SPD Headquarters inside the Somerset Energy Center at 306 E. Mt. Vernon St., Somerset, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Administrative offices are closed on weekends and many holidays. If you have an emergency, please call 911.
Special event coverage
Are you organizing an event in the Somerset city limits that requires security, traffic control, road closures or other law enforcement-related needs? You must fill out our special event application in order to have your event approved. Download and complete your application and return it to Tourism Director Leslie Ikerd, likerd@cityofsomerset.com.
