A city ordinance is a type of law, rule, or regulation made by a city government.
Ordinances are intended to address issues of local concern and apply to people subject to the city’s jurisdiction. They have the equivalent power and force of a statute. When a new city ordinance is enacted, it will be listed here. We will maintain this list of ordinances for four years (thank you for your patience as we build out this page). Ordinances older than four years can be obtained through an open records request in the Somerset City Clerk’s Office.
