On Wednesday, July 13, Somerset Parks & Recreation will host its 6th annual Golf Scramble at General Burnside Island State Park. Somerset Parks & Recreation has partnered with Don Franklin Somerset to provide a fun community event in which the proceeds go to our local Operation Angel Care Program. In the last two years, the golf scramble has raised over $20,000 for Operation Angel Care. Entry fee for a four-member team is $320 and includes a full day of fun! Check in is at 9:30 a.m. and shotgun start at 10:30 a.m., don’t be late! First place receives $2,000, second place receives $1,000, and third place receives $500. Price includes: 18-holes of Golf, Golf Cart Lunch, and Prizes for longest drive and Closest it the pin. Mulligans and Skirts can be purchased for $5 each (Limit 1 Mulligan and 1 Skirt per golfer)
