The Somerset City Council is the city’s legislative body. Twelve council members are elected from each district by all voters of the city.
Council meetings are 6 p.m. the second and fourth Monday of each month in the Somerset Energy Center council chambers. We broadcast all of our regular council meetings live on Facebook. Agendas for regular council meetings are posted the Friday prior to the council meeting. They will be posted in the community calendar on the entry for the appropriate council meeting.
The council is responsible for adopting the annual budget, ordinances, resolutions, policies and regulations.
